Born in San Diego, Dave’s family moved to Pasadena in 1950 where he later met and married his wife, Judi. Between them, Dave and Judi have four grown children and ten grandchildren.

In 1971 Dave and Judi moved to Solana Beach to sell the first oceanfront condominium development in North San Diego County. Dave and Judi opened their own business from their den in their townhome at Seascape Sur, one of the four new oceanfront developments Dave sold. By 1976 Dave expanded his company and moved into the log cabin building on South Sierra Avenue where it is still going strong today.

Initially the rental department was housed in what’s now the office conference room. In the late ‘80s the building was added on to, creating an ideal home for the rental department, which has continued to expand to where there’s no room left.

Dave is semi-retired now, still working most days but fitting in travel now and then. Today the company is run by Joyce Thomas, the General Manager, and is fully staffed to accommodate sales, vacation rentals, leasing and property management. Although the primary focus is on the beach communities of Del Mar and Solana Beach, the agents have areas of specialization from Coronado to Oceanside and east to the I-15 corridor.
